The icehole rules!

Yeah it is great! It just melted last friday, I pushed the two pieces away under the honeycombing ice. It split in half. some years it floats like a donut. the edge gets thicker from snow buildup, we cover it with a piece of plywood and a mound of snow.

the muskrats use it as a dining room and keep it open. we find bushels of weeds and the ocasional half eaten fish.
